The Victoria Harbour is an important resource in Hong Kong in terms of leisure and tourism. In recent years, the Government has actively promoted the enhancement of the harbourfront areas and earmarked $500 million special funds to support relative projects, so as to cater the needs of the public and tourists. I have made recommendations and demanded the Government to set up plans, targets,and timetables in adding distinctive characteristics and attractiveness to Hong Kong's harbourfront.
