Ocean Park

I supported the Budget to allocate $310 million to Ocean Park for the use of educational tourism projects development. It was proposed that the Government and the Ocean Park would plan short, medium, and long term development target measures for sustainable development of the Park.

Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) Expansion Plan

The first phase of Disneyland's expansion plan will cost a total of $10.9 billion in the coming 5 years. I requested the Government to supervise the project closely and plug the financial loopholes. I also hoped that the Government would convince the parent company of Disney to exempt the management fees of HKDL due to losses.

 

On 26 February 2018, I attended the meeting of Panel on Economic Development – Expansion of HKDL

 

Supported the concept of a temporary Dutch Floral Park in the second phase development of HKDL and recommended the Government to look for other suitable investors, so as to make the best use of the allocated 60-hectare land.

 

On 22 June 2018, I attended an interview at "The Millennium ", a radio programme of RTHK, and was interviewed over the topic of land use for second phase development of the HKDL(Programme review)
