Improve the Parking Condition in To Kwa Wan, Announced the Road Safety Charter

I have all along been highly concerned about Mainland tour groups in the To Kwa Wan district that affecting the livelihood of residents in area. The lack of parking lots for coaches has in particular caused huge impact on the traffic. After meeting and negotiating with different stakeholders, progresses had been made on the issue. On top of cooperation and execution of Charter by all parties, the coaches can now be parked in designated car parks at discounted rates to reduce congestion in the district. I shall continue to follow up and hope that the problem will be properly resolved.

On 26 May 2018, I attended the charter activity of road safety with Hon Frankie Yick, Dr. Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Bureau (CEDB), Mr. Lee Sheung-yuen, Assistant Commissioner for Tourism, and others. The activity was organized by Kowloon City Police District and co-organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Association
